Part of our regular practice is being able to sit and quiet our minds so we can have an opportunity to see what is arising moment by moment throughout our regular day. Meditation can take on many forms, and being able to gather with others on this path as well as having the guidance of a teacher can greatly add to your practice, or help to start one.
Our weekday mediation is 30 minutes in length and is a combination of silent meditation (about 15 minutes) and guided meditation (about 15 minutes). Our guided meditation can take many forms, from compassion meditation, gratitude meditation, walking meditation, qiqong visualizations, and more.
All are welcome to these events, even if you have no previous experience. Showing up is all it takes, as we have people to guide you and help you get started or continue to build your practice.
We have cushions and mats you can use at the center. Please dress comfortably and casually.
